Aphids - Plant Lice
Tobacco dust is one of the best things to use when transplanting plants
whose roots are attacked by aphids (plant lice). Mix a small handful in
the soil where each plant is set. It will rout these sucking insects
and also act as a stimulating fertilizer without risk to the roots.
