PANTRY PLANT FOOD

The following recipe can be used as a substitute for commercial houseplant fertilizer:

1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon saltpeter, 1 teaspoon epsom salts, 1/2 teaspoon household ammonia, 1 gallon of tepid water.

Mix and dissolve first four items into water.
